Services Overview: Lu Oliphant Solicitors is a fast growing practice based in North West London comprising practitioners with many years' experience. The firm provides extensive legal services including residential and commercial conveyancing, immigration, civil litigation, advice on employment matters, banking related issues, company law, wills and probate.

Update: Our bank is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.  This means that each client for which we hold funds on account will benefit from the compensation limits set by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (£50,000 for deposits as at the time of writing).

Update: We are pleased to announce that we have been approved by the UK Borders Agency (“UKBA”) as a third party support provider.  We are now listed as an organisation assessed as advisers to prospective sponsors under the points based system.

This approval means that we have satisfied UKBA we have a good understanding of the sponsorship arrangements and are able to provide prospective sponsors with a document assessing their readiness to make a sponsorship application.  Where such documents are submitted to UKBA, they will not normally duplicate the checks we have already made.  As such, they would expect to make decisions on applications supported by one of these documents well within the standard six-week turnaround.  However they may still carry out checks or visit a prospective sponsor as part of the sponsorship application and management process at any time.
